Fast action, stunning cars, superb scenery, friendly people, and a relaxed atmosphere – these essential ingredients combine over the weekend of 21- 22 June when the Vintage Sports-Car Club visit Loton Park Hill Climb near Shrewsbury in Shropshire for the annual ‘Vintage’ hill climb.
For sixteen years cars from an evocative era in motor sport have been competing at Loton Park. These include Vintage cars (built before 1931) and pre-war cars (built before the outbreak of WW11) from marques such as Alvis, Austin, Bentley, MG, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Frazer Nash, Riley, Aston Martin, Delage, Morgan, and ERA. Many of these will be competing, trying to achieve the fastest time in their particular class and more coveted awards such as fastest time of the day overall.
